Was delicious French Toast and bacon breakfast. Good old fashioned family place. Would like a senior citizens menu or let us eat off the kids menu. Other wise very good.

This used to be one of my grandparents favorite places to eat. Their breakfast items are fine, as those are truly hard to mess up, but my mom and I went here for the first time since losing my grandparents last year and the food and service was poor. I have gotten the chicken Alfredo in the past and it is usually good. Today’s batch tasted like a lean cuisine. The chicken was fine but that’s about it. Even the garlic toast was bad somehow. The waitress never checked how our food was but came to ask if we wanted a box. When I said no but had a full plate of pasta left, she of course asked what was wrong and passed it along, however when it was mentioned to the person at the register they just said sorry and acted like they didn’t care (even though they asked how everything was) and didn’t even offer a comp or to discount the meal even though I only ate the chicken out of the pasta and a bite or two of the toast. Would have gladly paid the $4 for the soup and dessert I ate that came with the meal however absolutely absurd to ask how everything was and really not care when feedback is given. Sadly, we will not be back here. My grandpa would be sad to know his breakfast spot on Wednesday with his buddies for years has really gone downhill.

Going to Sunset Family restaurant has been a tradition in our family for over 20 years, the food is great and so is the staff. I always go for their spaghetti/ravioli combo dinner. We were just there for dinner last night and the service was great as always.

Average breakfast. My sausage tasted old. Service is good. Staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are pretty standard.
Wish they served breakfast potatoes over hash potatoes.
Place is very outdated and smells outdated. Atmosphere is family friendly.

Great little family restaurant. Food is good, portions are ample and the server was amazingly on top of things (and it was busy). Definitely recommend.
