I like this restaurant but had a bad experience recently. We made reservations for dinner and planned to stay to hear the band. We arrived early and was told that our table would be ready as soon as the couple in our reserved seats finished. A few minutes later, the hostess said they'll be done shortly. About 15 minutes later, the hostess tells us that the couple decided to stay, so although we made reservations, they no longer had a table for us. She told us that she was not going to ask the couple to leave. The hostess asked if we wanted to sit with another couple or at the bar. We declined, because we wanted to sit alone and expressed how disappointed we were after driving from Smyrna. I asked the hostess what was the point of making a reservation. Her response was "I'm not going to argue with you." I explained that I was not arguing but was asking for clarification. The hostess asked the manager to speak with us. After another 10 minutes or so, he came over and very firmly stated that they had no tables available and had clearly overbooked that evening. My friend asked if there were any tables upstairs. The manager stated that there was a private birthday party upstairs and that it might be warm and crowded. Nevertheless, he located a table upstairs and we were finally seated about 45 minutes later. There was no apology from management. Although, they did comp one drink and the $5 cover charge. I was very disappointed by the way we were treated. I could not understand why the couple was not asked to sit at the bar since they decided to stay at the last minute. It seemed like the most logical thing to do, but what do I know about customer service. I do understand that mishaps occur, but I believe that this situation could have been handled a lot better.

Phenomenal food! And a southern charm atmosphere. Highly recommend the salmon or side of mac and cheese, so yummy. They also have great live music, thanks to the girls room for showing us this delightful spot!
