Just fabulous food and service. Love the back outdoor seating looking over the creek and golf course. The burger, cod and home made chips were fantastic!! As were the buffalo chicken wontons app... oh my gosh good 👍 And we finished it all off with the gluten free flourless chocolate cake... was to die for :) Everything is all made fresh here so even if your not playing golf, need to get away for a great bite, or want something new and fresh for a date night. The taproot public house has you covered!! Thanks u guys, excited to come back real soon ;)

This restaurant was recommended to us by several people. Dropped in to check it out. Lunch time, not busy, so we sat right down. Menu was impressive, not huge but lots of variety. Food was excellent and we were very impressed. Server shared some unique beer with us based on our drink choices. We ended up buying some of those -- her recommendation was excellent for us. We'll be back!

By far one of the best burgers I've ever had, everything about this meal was cooked, prepared, and portioned perfectly. The fries were hangs down the best, perfectly cooked to a soft yet somehow still crisp consistency. The burger topping and buns were nothing but the highest quality of freshness and deliciousness. I highly recommend the next time your in Lewisburg stopping in and dining here, I even recommend a trip just to dine here. I will be back for sure.

What a gem of a place.
There is not a better golf course restaurant around and like I said in my review of Saddle Creek, it’s nice to have the option of great food at a golf course, especially with an actual CHEF at the helm.
I’ve had the hot chicken sandwich (excellent), the fish sandwich (excellent), the brisket and grits (brunch menu and excellent), and cocktails. Everything I’ve ever ordered has been great.
One thing that is important to mention: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PLAY GOLF TO EAT HERE, AND YOU SHOULD MAKE A TRIP JUST TO EAT HERE. It’s that good!
Great service too. I was surprised by the enthusiasm and politeness of the server and tipped her appropriately. Chef came out to check on us and that was a very nice touch.
Enjoyed everything about our experience and would drive from Williamson County anytime to eat here.
