This will be the second year living above Tekila. The restaurant has been open for a few months now, and ever since they opened we have had nothing but issues. Every Thursday night they play live music past city ordinances time, playing until 11-11:30pm. You can clearly hear the music in the above apartments. Recently the restaurant has been very inconsiderate by putting loud speakers outside and blasting music until 11-11:30pm before the cops were called to turn the music off. The employees were negligent and left the music on all night. Leaving the restaurant with multiple tickets from the city for being negligent. But that’s not all, their food is also way too expensive for how poorly it is cooked. It is not very tasteful and they never have what you want to order. We have given this location multiple opportunities to redeem themselves but they just can’t seem to do it. On a positive note, (cause there has to be something right?), their drinks and chips are pretty good. Besides that, I wouldn’t suggest dining here or living above it.

Tekila deserves a 5star review for the service from Andrew. The margaritas were made with lime and triple sec (instead of mix) and were great. The food was good, but a little on the bland side, but hey, we are in Sussex - it's to be expected. I'd love it kicked up a little more with more lime, cilantro, and cumin. Still pretty authentic and worth a visit if you're in the area.

Had the most wonderful dining experience at Tekila today for lunch! Very pleasantly surprised. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed delicious margaritas and food. These are made from scratch margaritas. Our server Andrew was wonderful and added to the overall experience. We definitely will be going back!
