Great shop, great food, good people. The Black cow has become a steadfast staple in the area. With so many "fast lunch" "quick bite" gimmick food establishments, that really are not great. The Black cow takes the standard of good food, hard work, and great customer service up a notch. The atmosphere is great, in door or out door dine in, or easy to go options. You can call ahead. Locally owned and operated by gals that grew up here, and take the area seriously for how great it is. Stop in for breakfast, or lunch, grab a chocolate chip bacon cookie. Be polite, be humble, be happy. Stop in to the Black Cow Cafe and Merc.

After staying the night in Ontario, OR my wife and I drove through Fruitland and found the Black Cow Cafe on Google Maps and decided to stop in for breakfast before heading to Wyoming. Great food, great service and a top notch little cafe with very clean restrooms. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. I wish we would have had more time to stay and try their lunch/dinner menu

This was a cozy Valentine's dinner. They had a one night special for Valentine's day on Saturday before hand. They are not typically open for dinner. However the food was delicious! The beer jalapeno Mac and cheese was awesome! Chicken breast was moist and very flavorful. Their sirloin with fig sauce was cooked perfectly. Though the fig sauce was a bit sweet for my liking. P.S. if you go here try and get one of their giant bacon chocolate chip cookies it's heavenly!
