What a great experience dining at the Downtowner! Our waitress was awesome! We had a group of 12 & she got drinks promptly. She put the orders on 2 tickets & the food was out of the kitchen & served very quickly. Tasted great! If you get the chance to try them, it's well worth it!

Stopped in while visiting from Omaha. Old fashioned breakfast place with good prices and decent service. Half of the tables were reserved on a Saturday morning. Husker B&G special and french toast were pretty good but nothing special.

The staff, from the host to the servers, were prompt and friendly. The food came quickly, and was delicious. My wife had the chicken club, I had the Zorro (a Mexican style omelet), and both were just right. If you happen to be in Nebraska City and want to grab a bite, this is a place you need to check out.
