Fox and Hounds is a wonderful dining experience in Washington county. To start with the drive to the restaurant is downright beautiful, winding through the Kettle Moraine forest. The ambiance that Fox and Hounds offers is unmatched. We normally go for the fish fry on Friday nights and while there is normally a short wait, we normally have a cocktail in their downstairs tavern and then our table is ready. We both had the all you can eat fish fry yesterday and it was amazing as usual. Our server Sean was very friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed. If you are looking for a romantic night out, Fox and Hounds is a wonderful spot!

We enjoyed a delicious NYE dinner in this beautifully decorated restaurant. Our waiter, Joshua was excellent, kind, & efficient. He made our evening very pleasant & memorable. Joshua handled the situation with concern & patience when one of our guests didn't feel. Please thank him again for us. You have a very very special person on your staff. We all are blessed because of him. Happy New Year!

I have always had a wonderful experience here. Yes, sometimes there will be a wait, even if you have a reservation. Due to the fact that they are so popular! (It is kind of like the old traditional supper clubs.) As far as their response to the pandemic, they have been very accommodating with their buffet! Also, customers who want to wear masks do, the servers wear masks (each time I've been there), and everybody seems fairly pleased with the arrangement. I have worked in the restaurant industry on and off over the past 30 years. A good rule if thumb is to call ahead to find out what their policy is. This would include the current pandemic, their dress code, how warm they keep the restaurant, or how stringent their reservation policy is. (Some restaurants use more of a "call ahead to get on the wait list" policy, for example.) I am just so thrilled to find out that there are restaurants staying open for those of us who do want to get out and enjoy life again!
