I was staying overnight in Madison for work. After a long day, all I wanted was a patio in the sunshine, good food and a couple of delicious cocktails. WOW did this place come through! Rachel (sp?) was incredibly personable, another person that had stopped at my table genuinely spoke with me and another guest there, and this patio-wow. I spent entirely too long there enjoying the peace and quiet. I’d recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone. Thank you!!!

Amazing local spot with ample space, a million televisions, and huge selection of beers, but the highlight is the food. We arrived 10 minutes before the kitchen closed, hungry from a long road trip. The cheese curds, fish tacos, and guac were remarkable! The prices are great, given the quality, and our server was attentive and funny.

Overall, it is a decent option for bar style food with a large number of on tap options. The interior has a light and airy atmosphere. I got the fish and chips and it cooked well. It wasn't especially noteworthy but was satisfactory. So, if you looking for some bar food, the Thirsty Goat is a reasonable option.

Excellent food every single time. On our recent Eat Street delivery order there was a system failure on Eat Street’s end and the general manager of The Thirsty Goat made sure that we got our food and were taken care of. Love this restaurant and it’s staff. Thanks guys!

We visited, with another couple, on a Wednesday for lunch. We had good service and good food. My Mac and cheese came with a side salad and was delicious. If course, there was enough Mac and cheese for a second meal. We will visit the Thirsty Goat again.
