We had been as busy as the proverbial one legged man all day and everyone was famished and cranky. I'd been to Whole Enchilada when they first opened, but had not been back since. It's in an unusual site, per Albuquerque standards for good food, this time squeezed between a battery and mattress shop, so it's easy to miss or forget, until your home and don't want to head back out. Anyway, it was Taco Tuesday, and everyone got the same tacos from the selections so we could compare tastiness. Everyone liked everything and there were no complaints, so I was happy.as was the rest of the family. So give The Whole Enchilada a shot next time you want tacos or Mexican food. Hopefully, you won't be forgetful like me and you'll put them into your regular rotation.

The food was tasteful great experience . The waitresses could use some personality not just be dry and straight forward. For lunch on a Saturday this place was empty we were one of 2 families . Comfortable environment. The option of sitting inside or outside was great. I would recommend this place to others.

Something’s missing. I visited this restaurant twice and kept wondering why it’s not busier if it’s been open for a while. But, based on both of my experiences it makes sense now. The first time the beans tasted like they had gone bad and the lady owner came out to assure me they were fresh, which is fine but was a bit confrontational not apologetic. Need less to say I didn’t believe it and didn’t take my chances. I decided to give them another shot so my wife and I went back around lunchtime and it was just us and another table once again. This time we ordered two shredded beef burritos that had more rice than beef and the flour tortillas were mostly raw. I ended up leaving the tortilla and just ate the beef I could find. Unfortunately, my wife and I walked out and decided to never return. I am a firm believer in supporting local businesses but these experiences didn’t help. I can’t help but wonder why they’re still open to be honest. It’s a shame.
