Uncle Stoney's is a must-try. Everything on their menu is excellent (the slow-cooked beef is my favorite). What really sets Stoney's apart is the clear attention to flavors across the board. Everything works so well together as one bite, and then to top it off, they grill the burrito at the end. You can easily taste the freshness of the ingredients as well. Compared to the rest of the Mexican food on the island, Stoney's is in a league of its own. If you live on Kauai, you've gotta try Stoney's. If you're visiting Kauai, you've gotta try Stoney's. My wife and I have become regulars multiple times per week. Not only is it the best Mexican food on the island - it has become my favorite meal as well.

BEST burrito on the island AND ITS NOT CLOSE. Very California style. Flavor and feel of the burrito are just perfect. Great space to hang out at. Staff is really friendly and loves to get to know their customers.
