It took 25 minutes before we ever got menus and our drink order taken. The BBQ baked potato was massive and was good, however the brisket sandwich was extremely dry and had to be smothered in sauce to be eaten. The potato salad was really good though as were the baked beans. Would've been 4* if we didn't have to wait so long to get menus and drinks. The brisket would've likely been better earlier in the day but it was around 6pm when we went so it was likely just dry from sitting all day.

Very nice restaurant. I couldn't believe how clean it is, I don't think that I have ever been in a cleaner restaurant. Food was good. Homemade and great taste.
Stuffed baked potatoes were amazing! I will be back!

I gave Ziffel's 3 stars because food was good and our server was very nice. However, my husband ordered a brisket and it was served on a tin tray lined with a paper lining which made cutting the meat next to impossible without cutting through the paper. Plus the sauce made the paper soggy. Ziffel's still practices social distancing with every other table unavailable for seating. Also a section of the restaurant was completely closed to customers. The atmosphere made me sad.

Great pulled pork option 1 on their menu:
1. They made fresh okra for one of our 2 sides, which all was very delightful!
2. The think sauce was tasty on the buns with the meat.
3. The baked beans was very yummy as everything was.

I'm giving this 5 stars as I would rank this up there with some of the best BBQ in middle Tennessee.
Brisket and pulled pork was better than average. White Cole slaw could use an upgrade (it was a little to the KFC side of quality - not bad - but I expected a little better).
The sauce was good. I would have liked a little more, but it came in a small side dish container. I'm sure the waitress would have brought more if I had requested it.
There was a cool sports bar vibe with all the TVs and bar.
The bottom line is, the next time I get to Lewisburg we have a BBQ option. And a very good one at that.
