We were out of town visiting, and Ada's was recommended. We made a reservation, and waited about an hour after our reservation time to actually be seated. Which was fine, annoying, but fine. While we waited, we enjoyed an espresso martini at the bar which was FANTASTIC. I told the bartender we were in town to bury my dad, to which she replied "Oh my God, that's so funny", clearly wasn't listening because that is certainly not funny. The orange butter with the black brioche was so delicious, and all of the food was outstanding. Our server was very attentive. It was a rocky start, but the flavorful food and our server made up for it.

Ada's was the perfect date night dinner. Beautiful inside and out, but we opted to dine on the patio for the amazing riverfront views. Had the crab cake, lasagna, creamed spinach, potato pave, and lemon tart. Our drinks were the Tower of London and the Crack the Code. Start to finish, the meal was absolute perfection. Our waiter was also lovely and had great knowledge of the menu. Excited to return and try even more!

This is significant dining destination in Alexandria! We came for a date night and it was a terrific choice. The food was very tasty and interesting, and the vibe leaned casual yet still refined and very classy. Great service when we went, but it was a very rainy Sunday night and it was only moderately busy so I'm sure that took some pressure off the staff. In any case, they were great and our experience was wonderful!
