This place is amazing! I didn’t know the former iteration but was thrilled by the drinks, food and service at the bar. Paul is outstanding. The oysters are unbelievable. Beautiful atmosphere and vibe.

Great food. Portions are on the smaller side, but that is expected. Good beer and wine selections. Cocktail menu had some good options as well, including a swizzle which is a bit rare these days. Great place for a date night or a few drinks at the bar.

Having teared up for the past 2+ years each time we walked by the empty rooms of our legacy Vermilion I can happily report, Vermilion is back! My wife and I tried a wide variety from their new menu.......black sea bass, baby goat, beet salad, milk/butter bread, blueberry strudel, and the flan. All get high marks but I'd probably opt for two blueberry strudels and skip the small milk bread when we return this weekend for restaurant week. Nice presentation and appropriate timing for courses and replenishment of our beverages. Looking forward to a very exciting menu for restaurant week and have no problem taking along two of our foodie friends who want to return to our old friend Vermilion. Portion sizes, sans the mini bread loaf, were generous. Having read other reviews about spotty service and the over bearing loud music, we can happily report Vermilion must have been reading those complaints and remedied appropriately. Service was excellent, background music was tolerable but please don't raise it again. Food was top notch. Who says you can't go back home?
