I cannot explain to you how amazing these people are. They always take care of us. They're always on top of it. I've never had to wait for a drink. It has been the best experience. Mondays are half price burger night

Went for brunch this past Saturday, arriving at 11:45. Restaurant wasn't too crowded. We went upstairs and sat at the bar which we've enjoyed in the past. The bartender was responsible not only for the bar, but all the dining tables upstairs with no assistance. Took about 15 minutes to get our drinks. He kept saying, 'I'll be right with you as soon as I ...' He was really trying to keep up, but between drinks, taking orders, and delivering food, he was slammed and literally running. We were in no hurry, but waiting a half hour to have your food order taken is a long time. At 12 noon, help arrived. A young woman 'bartender' joined him at the upstairs bar. He gave her some instructions about the tables and what was needed, but she felt the need to make a cold coffee drink with lots of whipped cream for herself, and then stood behind the bar, away from all customers, and enjoyed it for about 10 minutes. The male bartender continued to scramble doing the best he could to keep customers happy. Our food was good and was delivered hot and we enjoyed it. We didn't order a second drink, because we couldn't get either bartenders' attention. The male bartender is a credit to your restaurant...trying hard, cheerful, never complaining, doing his best to serve and keep customers happy. The young woman...useless. My suggestion, come after 12 noon and get a table or eat at the bar downstairs.

Excellent! Server was awesome, she was Scottish and interesting and super nice. Food was dynamite, had the Cajun chicken pasta, friends had the salmon salad and blackened chicken salad, all the serving sizes were very generous. Beautiful outside view of the water and downtown Alexandria. Got the cookie with ice cream for dessert and it was to die for. Would absolutely recommend, not too pricey for Alexandria either. There is a paid parking lot very close to it but if it had rained recently Alexandria blocks off some of the roads to get there so you may have to park further away. Cheers!
