Wife and I are visiting and have been trying all the plant base options served here on the big island. We loved the food at Barefoot. Everything from the fruit to the main course seemed extremely fresh and of higher quality then we expected. The owner Tess was also very generous with her time. She spoke to us about her passion for food. We just loved the entire experience.

The food here is so good! Got the Elixir of Love pesto veggie crepe and the Alive breakfast wrap. Both were delicious, filling, and beautifully presented. Service was fast and friendly and there was a nice patio to eat at. So happy to find a plant based restaurant with such amazing food. Will definitely be back to try the acai bowl!

Barefoot zone has the best high quality, organic, plant based foods in South Kona! I have friend the dragon fruit bowl, super bowl , a couple of their wraps and crepes. They are all amazing and made with love. The açaí bowls are sizable portions that can be shared ! There is a breezy outdoor patio with a great view . I loved touch of the handmade wooden furniture. Very kid friendly. Staff and owner are inviting, compassionate, friendly people! Don’t miss Barefoot Zone!
