Oh my word. I wish I could say we discovered a new honey hole for great food, but all I can do is echo. Whether your first time on the island or a local, this place is excellent. I’m from the South, and it reminds me of so many places I ate with my dad. Great food, comfortable atmosphere, and the best people behind the counter. Definitely a bright spot in our trip to The Big Island. I’ll be back for lunch in a couple of days.

Great employees and the food was delicious that it was hard to get out of the place! The staff where nice and the food was great. There is one more dessert than listed. There is a food that tastes like dessert so technically there is two more desserts than listed. The family that runs the restaurant are warm and friendly. We tried everything on the menu, and a few extra (as my daughter mentioned above). Each item was tastier than the last.

Amazing and authentic culinary experience. Delicious homemade Hawaiian food spot owned and operated by a delightful local family. Nothing fancy but so tasty and real. Favorite dinner during the whole vacation on Big Island. ❤️
