Baxters American Grille reminds me of a upscale Ruby Tuesday’s. I was expecting more from the menu. Appetizer “ calamari “ can’t be it. Main event consisted of a New York strip medium rare, paired with fish & potatoes rounds fired “dry” would love to see a old school / modern version of the fish and chips , add lemon. The NY strip with roasted garlic herb butter, “superior “ .

We really enjoy their Wednesday 1/2 price appetizers menu. The food was very good. We dined outside (for COViD reasons) on their patio and despite the high 80s temps it was quite pleasant. The restaurant is on the ground floor of a multistory building so plenty of shade from the summer sun in the west at 5:30 pm. Good food, drinks, and excellent service.

A community gem, usually I can tell that an establishment is not interested in doing continuing business with me by the quality of the food I receive. However, this organization isn't a bar that serves food it is in fact a restaurant that has a bar. I am surprised that they make their own cocktail sauce as well as marinara. I was so impressed by my total experience food and service that I returned 2 days later and I'm going back tomorrow if I'm not snowed in. I certainly have a new hangout! Hi 5 Management.
