We happened upon this quaint spot after a quick search. It did not disappoint. We were able to park in a free lot about a block away. We sat at the bar and had fast, friendly service. Our Steak Frites with truffle fries were so good. And the Fried Pecan Hand Pie was to die for. An awesome selection of bourbons and local beers. Lots of locals inside and out.

We live out of town and always love coming to Big Grove — this is our #1 favorite spot in Champaign for quick reliable service, great food, delicious cocktails, and a comfortable place to hang especially on the on the weekends. Our server Garrett was by far the best server we’ve ever encountered! He was so quick and thoughtful, and just perfect timing bringing us everything we could need and more. Garrett is awesome! He really made an impression and made our visit even that much more enjoyable :) Appreciate you!
