So, this place is phenomenal. My husband and I recently moved to Bakersfield and decided that we wanted to explore the local eats. As soon as we sat down our waiter, Thomas, cheerfully greeted us and asked us where we were from. Finding out we had just moved here, he quickly told us all about the city and gave us a bunch of suggestions for food, drinks, and culture. His service was phenomenal, and really made us feel welcome in our new home. I highly recommend stopping by for a visit. On top of world-class service, the food was amazing and the drinks were a dangerous blend of tasty and powerful. Our visit here really set the mood for the whole night. We will definitely be back soon! Thank you, Thomas and all the other Bootleggers staff members. Y’all are a fine example of service.

The food was tasty and the service was nice. Our server had a headphone in the whole time, misheard our beer size, and then got an attitude when we asked him to fix it at the end of the meal. I even asked the bartender who brought the beer if it was the tall and all she said was that it was a 14oz (how are we to automatically know the correct oz if we weren't told it in the first place) he corrected it on the ticket but with an attitude. And the kitchen didn't cook our burgers correctly

Great little neighborhood bar and grill. About 30 different beers on tap, including some very good California craft beer. Food was good, too. I had the burger and it was tasty and cooked just right. The ribs and tri-tip looked good too. Daily specials and happy hour drink and appetizer specials. Highly recommended. 2 thumbs 👍
