Great spot for a high quality, delicious meals while in Portland. We made dinner reservations here during one weekend trip to Portland and it was a highlight of the trip. Make sure to order the garlic knots! We also enjoyed the beet salad, lobster ravioli (a splurge but worth it) as well as a pizza. Great atmosphere too. Would definitely come again!

You need a reservation to get into this place; however, if there's room at the bar, you really should try this place out. The bartender knows how to make an excellent drink, and she was very attentive to our little spills and empty plates. We ordered the mussels appetizer and then had the Duck and a Chicken Caesar Salad for dinner. We had no room for dessert, but would have loved it too I bet! I have been coming to David's for a long time now and I am still impressed with their service and food and spirits!

Had a really top notch dinner with my wife. Salmon with fennel and mussels was perfectly medium and flavorful. My wife had open face lobster ravioli and pronounced it wonderfully rich and took half home. $185 for 3, 2 drinks.
