Overall, I have mixed feelings about this places restaurant. On one hand, the food wasn't bad at all. My party and I got some chicken, pizza, and pasta and none of those options tasted bad, actually they were pretty solid options. The issue with the food arose in the price and the portion size. For smaller than average portions at a higher than average price (for example, 27 dollars for a pizza that feeds only one person is sort of ridiculous), the food was not up to par. The chicken was paper thin and 20+ dollars and the I got like 10 nothing special raviolis total in my 19 dollar dish. For the price, the food was not worth it at all. We also had a server who seemed to have a very short fuse for even the most basic of requests like asking for more time to look at the menu or to order wine. In one incident, a member of my party asked to try a wine and after she tried it and didn't like it, the server just walked away. She didn't offer a new option, bring back the menu, or acknowledge much of anything after the fact. The ONLY reason I'm giving 3 stars us because the food didn't taste bad. It was just unnecessarily expensive, small portioned, and rudely served. Find other options in NYC if you want to save some money and eat a fulfilling meal.

Quality of food and cooking did not live up to the decor or prices. Service was reasonable but we weren't told that the pasta dishes are only available on the main restaurant area. Unfortunately, both of our meals were a let down. Greasy and poorly cooked despite using high end ingredients. Maybe its better for a quick bite and some wine rather than a meal.

Overpriced food, and average. We bought a pizza (made in the brick oven, supposedly fresh). The pizza was average, it was heated up (not sure when it was done), and it was cold. Then we bought a prepared meal, after paying they told us they didn’t even have a microwave to heat it, so we ended up eating it cold, it was awful. The place might be great looking and awesome if you want to pay a lot of money for average food. Just go to little Italy and you’ll find much better options and cheaper
