This may be the best restaurant in Maui. The menu is great for an island like Maui where a lot of restaurants seem to have the same supply and same food options as each other. If ekolu kitchen1279 isn't the best restaurant in Maui it is Top 5. The staff is incredible, the cocktails (and the cocktail menu) are reminiscent of a Manhattan speakeasy where the bartender tells you what you're drinking. The food has something for everyone, but check the menu if you do not consider yourself a foodie. They have live music occasionally, I don't know that I would come here with kids, but I would certainly bring friends or a date. They're back open and deserve to be one of the highest graded restaurants on Maui.

This place is awesome! The prices are beyond reasonable for Maui and the food is amazing. Everything we tried we loved and will for sure be going back. Chris behind the bar is a true craftsman and you can tell he enjoys what he does. All around great experience!

Service was great. Food was great. One complaint I have is I was recommended a dish.. and when that dish came... it was 3 ravioli and 4 medium size shrimp. It was not filling at all... think they should let people know the portion is very small. It was the shrimp ravioli dish. I'm here for dinner not a snack. Was very very small for what I was expecting and paid for.
