The food was absolutely delicious and service was wonderful. I am sad I didn't discover this place on the first day I got into Maui (instead I found it on my last day). I love sushi and have eaten it all over the world - Sansei is definitely worth going to for sushi lovers looking for authentic Japanese sushi. The non-sushi items were also great and my boyfriend loved his steak. They have a solid selection of wines, including good sake. Our server was also very friendly and attentive. I will absolutely be going back there next time I'm in Maui.

Dragonfly roll was really good. Having read reviews on Yelp this definitely is more Sushi fusion. The short rib was small portion covered with non crispy Brussels sprouts with instant tasting mash potatoes. Was hungry nonetheless so I ate it. Ain’t cheap 3 items incl 2 rolls and short rib I could not taste any red wine braise was $90

Felt like sushi on our last night in Maui had the great fortune to find this gem on google map! Since we didn’t have a reservation they could only seat us at the sushi bar which was a score! Host was fantastic and reviewed some of his favourites with us which we did end up choosing most of them. WOW! I’m worried every sushi meal after this will never compare! Combinations and flavours! Definitely will ALWAYS be a must on my Maui dining list!
