This place is good, but it’s very small (which I like) and it takes MUCH effort to get a reservation these days; it was never like this even before COVID. The prices are quite high, and the quality is good. But not worth the effort and cost.

Our last day on me and my husband’s honeymoon and nothing suited it better than this amazing dinner at Koiso Sushi Bar. We were extremely lucky to get reservations last minute as they are usually booked weeks in advanced. From the moment we were seated to when we left it was nothing short of an amazing experience as well as what I would say the best sushi I have ever had. It was our first time trying chef’s choice “Omakasa” and it is definitely the way to do it. The fish melts in your mouth and tastes extremely fresh. Each piece you can tell is made with attention to detail and care. If you can, make sure to make this a stop on your trip to Maui.
