Excellent service and delicious food makes this the hot new spot in the neighborhood. The three course dinner was fabulous and we were able to be seated outside on a quiet Saturday night. We will be returning often. Pandemic-era Update: Returned here for the first time since the start of the pandemic and the food, service, and setting are just as good as ever. My only disappointment is the removal of the Quartiere option (3-course meal with chef's choice appetizer and dessert, and select entree), even though all the same foods are still available. 5 stars retained for sure!

Minus 1 star-⭐️ for ignoring me. It took awhile before anyone acknowledge me. Finally a server came by and asked me if anybody had taken my order & apologized. His kindnesses and attentive attitude made my experience great (I think his name is Tim). Thank you Tim for acknowledging me. I love the unique flavors. Delicious food. * warning * finding parking is a major problem *

My husband and I went to Ellie's while visiting our son and daughter-in-law in Long Beach for Thanksgiving this year. I have to say the food was absolutely fantastic! As you can see by the photo, we ate every bite, it was that delicious. The service was wonderful, too, as was the ambiance. I'm sure on our next visit to CA, we'll want to return to try more dishes on the menu, we loved it so much! Kudos to your chef and staff!
