Just so you understand my rating, when I rate a restaurant, I take into consideration these things in order: Customer service, food quality, food quantity for price, cleanliness of dining area and cleanliness of bathrooms. They are all important but if anyone of them is bad enough it can drag down the others. In this case, the first person I interacted with was short, abrupt, and actually rolled her eyes at my children who were trying to decide what they wanted to order. She was impatient with everyone but me. BTW there was no one behind us in line that we were holding up. My suggestion is that the girl who brought the food out and had a pleasant smile and was polite should be the first person you deal with coming in the door. We had a party of 6 and the mood at the counter was enough to make my wife walk away, not order and even my 18 year old son was turned off and chose to not order. As for the cleanliness, the the over all appearance was clean, but we sat at 2 tables and both were dirty. We also watched another group have to ask to have their table cleaned. I get it, it’s hard to keep up, but they seemed to be staffed well and not super busy. The best rule of thumb is to clean tables as patrons leave. That being said the food was good for the price (resort town pricing). I would eat here again because the food quality but hope to see a smile and experience the feeling that I was appreciated as a customer.

This bustling little cafe does a fantastic job serving a tasty, limited menu to locals and tourists alike. You order at the counter & then find an available table. They have both outdoor & indoor seating options, but space is limited. We enjoyed scones & danishes with our coffee while waiting just a short while for huevos rancheros & a breakfast sandwich. Everything was fresh & yummy. The staff are friendly, upbeat & helpful. We really enjoyed our breakfast!

Went in for coffee this morning and it was packed! One of the older gals behind the counter yelled rudely at everyone in the store, “I need you to form a line outside!” And then mumbled “holy shit” under her breath loud enough for everyone to hear. Really unprofessional and rude. Lost 8+ peoples service. We won’t support a business that talks to customers like that. There are better ways to state this and she should have had a better system to begin with. Go support a local, friendly, grateful business! There are many here.
