First off the staff was super friendly and the atmosphere good. I have to say the service was just excellent in recent recommending things and very friendly. I never felt rushed despite how busy they were. I had the chowder and a salad. I really appreciated that the Caesar salad had bit sized bits of lettuce which made my eating much less cumbersome. The additions were all in perfect proportion. The dressing not overdone, and plenty--but not overbearing amounts of Parmesan was used. The chowder was excellent in texture and diverse in what was in it. While it was not what I am used to (chowder for a coastal fisherman like me is a very personal thing) nor my favorite, it is definitely something I could see people returning for or making a favorite.

Update: Still 5 Star... I want to send a shout to Frenchie's. I was excited to get back here after a long hiatus (out of town). I was looking forward to a meal at Frenchie's and they did not disappoint. They somehow had a few blue plate specials left and I picked that, the Hazy Rachael, with a cup of Gumbo. The Hazy Rachael was similar to a Reuben, only with turkey. The bread was amazing, the turkey was juicy, along with the sauerkraut and the sauce that complemented the rest of the ingredients. Every bite improved my mood and the Gumbo was so flavorful. It was great to see the friendly staff at Frenchie's again along with eating the wonderful food they prepared. Previous Review: Brunch was amazing. 5 star. Biscuits and gravy, Benedict of the day were very tasty.

10/10 The food was superb. Everything tasted like it was made in-house. Chowder is fantastic. Homemade pickles on Po’ boys Staff was all super friendly and gave excellent service Food was delivered very quickly
