We enjoyed breakfast at Governor's in Ellsworth and I put it up as one of my favorite breakfast spots. The portions are great, the prices are fair, the staff are wonderful! If you have to wait a bit for seating, it's worth it. Their bakery items are delicious as well!

Love this place excellent service and food waitress was awesome fast and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant. Prices were very competitive to other places in the area waitress time was very minimal. Manger was very polite. Thank you Jennifer and our wonderful waitress whose name I don't remember.

The quality of the food was great. My grandson and I shared a fisherman's platter. The price was $31.99. Not surprised, it's the going rate in restaurants and takeouts. But the portions were very small when compared to other places. However, my husband had the meatloaf mountain and those portions were very generous!! We both enjoyed the coleslaw (some of the best I've had) and the cream puff for dessert was delicious!
