First time order and I was hoping for a positive outcome. Most of the food we threw away. The beef and broccoli was bland and the beef was unchewable. The broccoli was soggy and just plain bad. The Marco Polo plate was tasteless with shrimp that was hiding. The hot and sour was just awful. I hope this place can get its act together. I have never written a review before, but I just wanted to warn people to stay away. The order was timely.

Absolutely disgusting "food". Everything tastes like it was fried in the same oil, bland... If you're looking for authentic Chinese food, RUN AWAY from this place and go just about anywhere else!!

I seriously had such high hopes 😔 I’ve always loved their orange chicken! But I can’t have spicy food and for awhile a couple years ago I would order, it would come spicy, the cook would deny it and the cashier started having me try a bite before I would pay 🙄 she never refunded my money or offered to remake it and it continued to happen so i eventually found China eatery in OOB. Fast forward this year and China eatery went out of business. So I decided to give happy dragon another try. I bought prob 4 meals in a row and they finally weren’t spicy! It was so good! And I even left a 5 star review. Tonight I go last minute and spend my last 20 bucks, even tipped on my way out. Get home and 🤢🤢🤢 The food is clearly old, soggy, and even though I tried to eat it I just can’t. That’s number one. Number 2 if I was to call and complain, they aren’t a business that does refunds, they don’t offer to remake it and they’re rude if you say anything about it so I’ll eat the 13 bucks but I will say that’s It for me. It’s too bad cuz when they actually care about their food it’s fire!!! But super inconsistent and its not worth playing Russian roulette with your food. Esp when you don’t get comped when it happens. This restaurant has potential but in my opinion mostly negative experiences in the course of 15 years.
