Phil was right about this place! The smashed potatoes were the best potatoes I've ever had. The burger was juicy and full of flavor. My partner had the tuna melt, and it looks like it will be too much lettuce, but trust me it's the perfect combination. Everything tastes fresh and I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Small vintage diner staff extremely friendly food was 5 stars!! Exceptionally good 👍 limited seating inside but worth the wait. Cash sales only accepted inside or you can order on line take out use card. Public table and chairs outside of diner.

I’ve been here a couple of times now, most recently with my kids. My nine-year-old daughter kept pushing me to leave a five star review for the Palace Diner before we left! The food is delicious (not only to kids), the atmosphere is great and the owners are charming and attentive. We will be returning! Potential patrons do have to realize though that the diner is tiny so chairs are very limited. I strongly recommend you not show up starving when you put your name in (esp. late morning on a weekend) because you will be waiting! I think it’s awfully goofy when I see people get super frustrated that there’s an hour+ wait when they show up on a Saturday at 10. To complain about that is not justified in my opinion. It’s also cash only which is atypical and mildly inconvenient, but there is an ATM right outside and the 7-Eleven one block away has an ATM that I didn’t have to pay a fee at. Now I just know I have to bring cash. A great experience.
