J.Alexander’s is and will always be me and my wife’s go to for a sophisticated, top class dinner. J.Alexander’s does great job with it’s laidback,modern atmosphere; friendly staff and delicious cuisine. I always order the NY strip with a side of white cheddar Mac&Cheese. The restaurant perfected this dish by having crispy,buttery edges,while keeping in all the flavor. The white cheddar Mac&Cheese is baked and seasoned to perfection! I am always satisfied and fulfilled after my meal at J.Alexander’s. If you’re looking for a great and romantic date night with the wife or have craving for a casual classic burger and fries; J.Alexander’s has you covered.

While sitting next to the kitchen made our dinner a little loud, the service and food made up for that. We started our meal with the deviled egg appetizer, which was full of flavor. The Alex salad didn't disappoint with just the right amount of dressing. The baby back ribs were the best part of the meal. Every bite was delicious and the meat was so very tender.

The interior and staff were excellent. The presentation was "throw it on the plate and get it out". I wasn't very hungry so I just had the grilled artichokes and mac & cheese. The Mac & cheese was outstanding. The artichokes were burned. Not charred. Not heavily grilled. Burned. I had a bite of my wife's steak and it was very good. Not sure what to think about the experience so rating in the middle. Fine dining should not leave you wondering. UPDATE: Visited 04/22/2022 My wife and I stopped in for a drink. She had a dirty martini with blue cheese olives and thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn't order anything. The bartender was a very nice guy and contributed to a pleasant break in the day. Hopefully we'll be back soon for another shot at a meal.
