Best Italian place in Jacksonville. The ladies there could not get us our salad on time so gave us free deserts. Try the beet salad, salon and above all truffle fries THE BEST!! They have all kinds of seating be it dining room, by the bar, booth, outside patio. But they are usually full so make sure you book in advance.

I love San Marco, so I make it a point to try every restaurant! Taverna is always beautiful, and such a great spot to eat. Can’t go wrong inside or out - both have great atmospheres and wonderful staff. The food is always fantastic- especially their seafood! I’m always scared to order seafood (especially raw) when I go out, but I know I can always trust taverna 😋

Food was excellent. Matt was excellent server, very attentive. We sat outside and it was a beautiful evening for it. Happy hour until 7 pm is very nice and food and drink on happy hour is a nice touch. Most places do one or other not both. We will be going back.
