Don’t get take out Hibachi!!! Nothing comes seasoned :( the only thing that tasted good was the soup and salad. So if you don’t wanna pay $20-$35 for a soup and salad don’t get the take out hibachi! Have tried take out 3 times and each time it taste nothing like what they do in house.

The restaurant is in desperate need of updating, as it is pretty shabby. Tiles are missing/cracked, the hardwood floors are worn, and the railings are made out of stained 2x4 lumber. Definitely built by a crew of DIYers, not professionally done as you would expect for $25/plate for chicken & rice. There are much nicer hibachi restaurants, just not in the Upper Valley. Only reason for 4 stars (instead of 2) is that the hibachi food is always very good. As another diner put it before leaving, "never disappoints."

The food is good, but the service is poor. I went in to dine with my partner for dinner. We ordered an appetizer to share, an appetizer to be brought out as a side with my meal, and two dinner meals (plus drinks). The side appetizer came out with the appetizer even though we were clear that it was a side to be brought out with my meal, so it was cold by the time my meal arrived. Also, my meal came out at least 5, if not 10 minutes before my partner's meal. I tried to be polite and wait for his meal to come out before starting to eat mine, but my meal would have been cold had I waited, so he told me to go ahead and eat without him. Very bad dining experience. We didn't really get to dine together. It is poor service to not bring out meals at the same time for a table of two, plus not listening to us asking for one appetizer to come out with the meal as a side, not before. It also took a long time to get the check, even though we sat at a table we had cleared to the side with empty drinks. I like the food. It is a shame the service is poor as it is hard to convince my partner to return to anywhere once we have had bad service a single time, and I liked this food a lot, so I'm pretty sad that it's now probably off the list of places he finds acceptable.
