Great food! Just gotta try this crazy burger comprised of Elk, Duck, Pork and Beef. This place literally burns through two Big Green Eggs a year because it's running 6-8 hours a day. Obviously the flavor of the grill takes this burger to another level. Oh yeah, and the rest of the food seems great, so I keep hearing. I just can't stop ordering the burger. They also have a fine selection of drinks.

Met up with a friend for happy hour at La Jolla (4-6). We had two glasses each of delectable happy hour wine for $5 each: I had red, which was malbec that evening. Steve, our waiter, was kind, helpful, and attentive yet not disruptive. We were so pleased with our wine and Steve's excellent service that we decided to stay for dinner instead of going elsewhere, which was our plan. We both ordered the burger, and we were allowed to change the side at no additional charge (very helpful for those of us who are allergic to the side or don't like what is being offered). The burger was thick and fairly juicy (above average but not excellent) and both of our sides brought numerous taste buds to attention. I'd recommend giving happy hour and dinner a try...and give Steve a shout out/tip generously. I am so grateful when we find excellent wait staff: It turns solely eating food for dinner into a pleasant experience and memory.

This restaurant is incredible! We almost couldn't believe we were in Montgomery. Food and service were both excellent. I had the Double Chop, and I was amazed at how perfectly it was cooked, despite being such a thick cut of meat. There are several gluten free options for those of us with Celiac Disease. We can't wait to go back!

Best steak I've ever had at a restaurant. My wife had lamb chops and it was delicious too. Everything on the table was great and worth the ticket. Service was probably the best I've ever had anywhere. Our waiter was named Damien I think. There are waiters and professional waiters... He is a professional and provided a top notch experience. Thank you to everyone involved with dinner tonight, it was great. We will be back.
