Don’t pass up an opportunity to enjoy the southern specialties at Martha’ Place. A welcoming and attentive staff will ensure your comfort and, above all, satisfaction of your craving for comfort food. We had spent the day visiting the civil rights memorials, and this was the perfect way to relax and appreciate Martha’s own struggles that have made her restaurant a destination in itself. If you can restrain yourself, go easy on the chicken and the roast beef to leave room for banana pudding.

Food was delicious. We were there with the lane college football team. They were playing Tuskegee the following day for their homecoming. The buffet included fried chicken, greens, Mac and cheese, rice, green beans, corn on the cob, a salad bar, etc. Sweet tea was on point too. If you're looking for soulfood, this is the place!
