My husband and I visited this restaurant on an overnight stay in the area. We mostly went for the large beer selection, but the food choices sounded good as well. We got the 12 option beer flight for $20. They had a list of probably 20 beer to choose from and there was a big variety of flavors and styles. The price for the flight was really reasonable and a lot of the ones we chose were very good. My husband ordered the meatloaf and he said is was pretty good. I ordered the steak salad. I liked the addition of the French fries which gave a good flavor. The steak was cooked exactly as I like it, but it didn't have a ton of flavor. Overall it was a good salad. We ordered the chocolate lava cake for dessert and that was VERY good! It was warm and gooey and the perfect ending to the meal. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, the food came quickly, and everything was good. The restaurant itself is very cool inside and outside. It definitely filled up inside while we were there so I think it's a local hangout spot. We had a great experience!

Good burgers, good salads - unacceptable meatloaf. It was dry, flaky, and was inferior to the scrapple I tried at Neptune. It came on a bed of cold mashed potatoes and boiled carrots and none of it had much flavor. I could have made it better myself. We were out for a special dinner with in-laws so I didn’t complain. If you want good meatloaf, go to Annie Bailey’s. See reviews below for a picture of it. It even comes on a small plate sometimes. Apps and desserts tasted better than the entree. Don’t read bar specials if you’ll be seated, they only apply to the bar. Outside service seemed slow for many tables. Our server was kind and correct, but hardly there. If you find my old review from the mid-10s, service had been an issue here before and it kept me away for years. The beer was enjoyable though.

Love that there was more than one stout on the tasting menu! The meatloaf was soft and delicious. And the carrots had the right texture between soft and firm. (Really dislike it when its mushy) The salad had a pleasing fresh crunch, and chicken and dressing were wonderful.
