Magpie is one of the best restaurants in town. It's got a relaxed atmosphere along with genuinely friendly staff who deliver consistently great service. It's locally-owned, farm to fork, has a full bar, artisanal cocktails and indoor/outdoor seating. Check their hours before you go because they change depending on if it's a weekday or a weekend. The menu also changes a bit based on what fruits and veggies are in season, which keeps things interesting.

Seasonal soup with heirloom beans is one of my favorite dishes anywhere, ever. The perfect soup. I've never been disappointed by anything I've tried here

It's an acquired taste. My wife enjoyed the food and drinks quite a bit, for me it was just okay. Definitely a different take on restaurant food than normal, which I admire. Will be coming back.
