My daughter loves the food at Melt and was to meet her friends here for dinner to celebrate her Birthday. Her friends made a reservation for 20 people to eat outside on the patio section of the restaurant at 7:00pm because this was actually going to be a surprise engagement proposal. At the time of making the reservation, they also asked if they could bring a few decorations. When the family and friends arrived, the patio was full with no tables for 20 available, nor a set up on the patio. After waiting about 20 minutes and consulting with the front Host, we were told they had “blocked off” the street and our party would be seated in the open air literally outside in the streets. It was 56 degrees outside and temperature dropping. We had no choice but to set up outside in the streets for the engagement proposal. The restaurant did place a heat lamp in the streets and some folding chairs and some folding tables. We were cold but we made the best out of what could have been a huge disaster. The surprise proposal did take place and most of our party enjoyed their food. Later the restaurant asked our family and friends if we wanted to move inside and because some were cold, we all agreed to get up and move to the inside. Based on our experience, I would NEVER plan nor recommend making a reservation here at Melt for a large gathering because they may bump you for another customer and my impression is that they are really about seating as many customers as possible even to the point of putting you literally in the streets. An advanced reservation doesn’t mean you have a reservation. I was very extremely disappointed.

Really busy place for Sunday brunch with lots of children and live music outside. There was a short wait and the staff was masked.
Great fries and good sandwiches. My wife really liked her turkey Reuben. Another diner had a plain grilled cheese which was very good.

Good food, friendly service. It wasn't the most expensive place I've had lunch but it wasn't cheap either but you're paying for the location as well as the food. If you're out around lunch time in downtown Huntsville I'd recommend giving them a try.

Live music was cool. Food was great. Menu has a lot of interesting stuff from burgers to awesome vegetarian dishes. It all sounds good, and everything I've had there has been good.
A must if you are in Huntsville.

We arrived to this busy eatery yet were seated immediately. Both the host and waitress were very friendly and helpful. The food truck nachos were unexpectedly delicious - a twist on the typical nacho. Our sandwiches arrived quickly and the food was steaming hot which was surprising given the number of customers present. Great place to meet friends for a bite of good food and drinks especially since it's close to everything in town!!
