I'm not a regular here, so take this review with a grain of salt. My partner and I decided to try this place out the other day and the first thing that we noticed were the sticky floors. They didn't look dirty, but I have no idea what was making it sticky from the front all the way to our table. The staff were all friendly, ladies had some cute lashes on, we felt like we had four servers asking us if we're all good. Here's the thing.. There were signs everywhere stating there's a staff shortage and the wait times would be longer. So we waited. We got our drinks, and let me tell you... whoever poured is very generous. I personally wouldn't consider this a good thing, because the liquor was too strong in the mixed (we're in our 30's, we're not trying to get lit at a sushi store), and my non-alcoholic mixed beverage was mostly syrup. Still waiting.. and then finally we get one of the things we ordered: a very basic, tiny, six piece salmon roll. This is what we got after waiting an hour. I don't claim to be an expert on anything, but I feel like it's a little much to have to wait over an hour for a most basic roll where the meat doesn't even have to be cooked. Starving, I finished it in less than a minute. We were looking around at the different tables and noticed that a lot of the people that were here (for who knows how long) before us were also still waiting. Google maps said it's way less busy than usual while we were there, there were a lot of empty tables. So we waited some more, and after a long, long, long while we hailed a server and asked if we can cancel whatever hasn't been made from our order and we'll just pay for what we had and leave. She checked our order and the other three rolls we ordered were already made (how long have they been sitting there?). How much longer would we have been waiting if we didn't ask any one of our seemingly very many servers about it. The rolls were alright, nothing to write home about. Definitely not worth the almost two hour wait, and most definitely not worth a hundo. Not sure if we just caught them on a bad night, but we will not be going here again.

One of my favorite sushi spots in the Denver area. Don't let the unassuming strip mall spot fool you - this place makes amazing sushi, has great service and a welcoming and lovely atmosphere. (huge fish tanks with tropical fish next to your table!) I love supporting the smaller, locally owned establishments that have been around a LONG time, and the quality and prices of Namikos make it an easy choice compared to some of the more "hip" spots that will cost you $150 for dinner for two.

The sushi here is great, they have purple haze sake which I also like. The staff is friendly and fast despite staffing shortages. The 'Line of Fire' shrimp is really good. They have tons of seating and the prices are average with decent sized portions.
