First I do want to say, I think that providence has good pizza. This review is not about the quality of product, but about my recent customer service experience. I recently had my parents in from out of town and wanted to treat them to something local, and I live in the neighborhood so Providence made sense. I ordered online, no issues with that process. When I arrived at the store for pick up, there were no customers in the store or parking lot. I get up to the counter and there are 3 employees are standing at the cash stand. No acknowledgement, eye contact or anything. I patiently wait as 2 were doing something on one cash register and the third was on the phone taking an order. When the 2 employees were done, instead of them acknowledging me, they walk to the back. The guy on the phone see’s I’m still standing there and a little annoyed at this point and literally has to call the guy that walked away back up to help me because he’s still on the phone with a customer. Even then as he was verifying my order, he acted like I was inconveniencing him. This is the first time I’ve said this and hopefully the last, but I regret tipping on this order and honestly wish I could get my money back. If I choose to come back, hopefully the customer service is better.
