The dark meat fried chicken was delicious! Had hush puppies which I’ve never had before as well we the spoon bread and mac and cheese. All of them were excellent. My drink was HUGE, I forget the name but it was a boozy lemonade. Might have been too much for this lightweight, but not complaining. The portions were perfect for sharing. Definitely would return.

Really loved the food and environment here. Fried chicken is excellent, some of the best I've had... Mac n Cheese was just the perfect size and really creamy. Topped that with the pan cornbread with maple butter and it was one of the most memorable meals I've had in awhile. Sadly I was only in town a short time but it's saved on my favorites list for next time. Don't miss this place. Edit: 4 or so years later I made it back, just as good as I remember.

The cornbread was a 5 but everything else was about a 3.5. The chicken was okay and the portions were quite generous but there were several opportunities for improvement. The staff is not very welcoming. My server, Mackenzie, was average. She didn’t ask if I wanted another drink nor did she ask if I wanted dessert. The bar was EXTREMELY limited. No daiquiris, hurricanes or moscato. The hurricane is a very popular drink in the South. You’d think that a restaurant that attaches itself to southern comfort would carry such a southern staple but I digress. Nevertheless, there are too many other options in Columbus that serve good food and a variety of drink options with a smile. Next time, I’ll go elsewhere. **UPDATE** I received a response from the restaurant and I was pleased with their effort to make things right. It’s refreshing to know that they truly care about the customer experience. I really appreciate it and I look forward to giving them another try.
