I've been here a few times and I enjoyed each visit. They have a bar & table service as well as a patio (Mosquito alert! I was seriously attacked by them once.) I recommend you to make a reservation if you prefer an indoor table as they have limited availability. The bar and most of the tables outside were available whenever I visited. Great service, they are very responsive to requests. If you are planning to have a conversation or looking for a quiet spot, the patio would probably be better. I find it a little too noisy inside, especially at the bar. (The tables might be different though, I've never tried them.)

So I ordered a drink specifically because it was described on the menu as spicy. Made with ghost pepper tequila it says. I get it and it was super sweet. So I ask for an extra shot of the ghost pepper tequila to add to it. They didn’t actually have it. At all. So why would they not tell me that when I am ordering and telling them I was looking for a spicy drink??? No clue. And then they would not take it off the bill. Never ever again.

This was my first time at the Stubborn Mule but we were meeting friends to celebrate a birthday and wanted to try the food. They did not disappoint. The flat breads were very tasty. The burger was juicy and very flavorful as well as being cooked to specification which has become a rare occurrence at many restaurants. My wife tried the smashed salmon sandwich and we found it to be very flavorful without tasting "fish" or dry. Without a doubt you must try the soft pretzels for an appetizer and the cheesy grits for a side. Both were done to perfection and added a new flavor to the palate. All in all a very enjoyable experience.
