Ordered the brisket plate and the brisket was delicious. The beans are one of their best side dishes and the cornbread was good. Average coleslaw, a little bland and mostly taste vinegar. Outdoor dining has a great view. I highly recommend the burnt and sandwich.

So worth the hour ride to get here! Food is so good, staff is friendly. Has outdoor seating, which was great perfect on a day like today. It did cost us $60 for 3 people...but it was worth it.

We eat here 1-2 times a week in the summer. Lately it’s been slow and food is cold. We were the first customers in line today and our food still took over 30 minutes to get to us while staff was cooking and eating their lunch first. Food consistency also changes from week to week. Completely different flavors, way the meat is cooked, and portion sizes the last 4 times we went. We love the view and on the days the food is cooked well it’s worth a long wait and the high price- unfortunately the last few times that hasn’t been the case and we are debating not going back. Huge bummer.

When busy, expect a wait time. Food is very good..do not get lime soda, nasty. Pulled pork, looked good. Grilled turkey club with fries...$13. Good on a cool sunny day. Parking limited.

A little slow on pick up/to go orders but the food was pretty good! Really enjoyed the ribs. The collard greens were in a takeout box instead of a soup cup and ended up spilling all over unfortunately. But they were still good!
