UPDATE: 20222- It gets 2 stars for the kindness of our server, but our food arrived super late, and the burgers were over cooked and the chicken undercooked. Spouse spent the better part of the following day sick. WE love local and pretty much only eat at local places, but BB, please step it up...thanks@ 2021:The service is really good. The burgers are always outstanding. They're not overly greasy they're flavorful and unique.

The food was spectacular even though the restaurant wasn’t that great looking. Its designed as a barge shack and the decor really brings in the feel. It has a welcoming small burger place atmosphere. The staff were amazing and friendly. They kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Definitely not a place to judge based on appearance because you will miss the delicious and creative burger combinations. I had the steak and egg burger that was so delicious and filling. The funnel cake fries are a must have with plenty of powdered sugar (hint - ask for more and they give you a side of powdered sugar) The music was great and outside tables were clean.

We stopped here while visiting Peoria on Mothers Day. It was very busy and the server definitely had her hands full, but she still gave us very attentive service. It took longer than usual to get our food, but it was well worth the wait. We all ordered different burgers, and each one was delicious!
