El Vez is a Mexican restaurant, but it's not your typical Mexican restaurant. It's upscale, the place gets very crowded, and the food is just as spectacular as the ambiance. The staff gets 100% from me—they were friendly, attentive and helpful. They made sure our table was ready for us when we arrived and that we were well taken care of throughout our meal. The food quality, on the other hand, gets a perfect score from me as well. As someone who has eaten at many Mexican restaurants in my life, this place definitely deserves top marks on its menu choices.

The drinks and customer service was good. Brandon was great! I'll give him 4 out of 5 ⭐️. The food wasn't that great however, the grilled corn on the cob was very good. Overall I would come back to this establishment if someone else wanted to go, like a group. El Vez wouldn't be my first choice but it's not out of the question either. Decor is cute. The bathroom area is downstairs for both men and women. It's very dark down there. I recommend putting more lighting down there as a safety precaution. The sinks to was your hands are not directly in the restroom. It's outside the restroom. Also, if you're a person that looks for happy hour specials or lunch specials, El Vez definitely doesn't have any. Anything that you may not like on a lower scale, the drinks makeup for it. Ha! Food was very tasty. Guacamole was great, fish tacos delicious. Blood orange margaritas were also excellent. Only concern are priced are going up and that seems to be everywhere. $12 drinks, $16 guacamole, two tiny tasty fish tacos with no rice or beans $16. Big fan but due to current prices will only go once in a while.
