There’s no way anyone could not give this place 5 stars in my opinion. I’ve been a couple times now and every time is even better. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and easy to ask questions about it, super knowledgeable of their specials and funny as well making it an overall comfortable experience. He also made sure I knew any pasta dish could be adaptable for me since I am vegetarian and allergic to nuts, and I didn’t feel bad about needing accommodations because of how nice he was about it. Then the FOOD. I have never tasted pasta so good in Birmingham as I have had Gian Marco’s. It came out perfectly. Overall I cannot wait to come back again.

This was our first time dining at this very popular restaurant. It may takes weeks to get a spot, so plan ahead. They have accommodated covid rules seamlessly.their course. Staff greeted us outside and checked that we had reservations before we could enter. We always dine early so it was quiet while we enjoyed a tasty dinner. My perfectly seared scallops sat on top of yummy pureed butternut squash, a delicate pairing.

Fantastic food and friendly staff. I ordered the veal chop and they brought me a half a cow. It tasted amazing and I was able to feed myself and my knuckle dragging heathens for two days. I had some appetizers that had the most unique taste (with pears inside of noodle things.) I would love to eat here again if they would have me.
