The food here is high quality and delicious! I ordered the platter and crab cake. Platter was honestly a bit of a misplay since the oysters are what really stood out to me. I would highly recommend just ordering a bunch of oysters as they have a variety of selections with each type bringing a unique flavor. I’ve never experienced such a bountiful range of flavor from raw oysters until I had it here at Ironside. The crab cake is by far the best crab cake I’ve had yet. It’s not too salty and it has a strong crab flavor to it which is just amazing! The place has a nice theme to it as well and the wait staff was quick. I would highly recommend this place to anyone new in town!

The best fresh tasty oysters in San Diego! Delicious drinks! Super cool stuff! Very attentive, very polite! You can tell owner took care of every little detail with so much love because the restaurant is just beautiful! Perfect spot for people loving drinks and good quality seafood! I will always recommend this place!

Cool atmosphere 💫 friendly service 🥰 Our server Rachel welcomed us with a smile and positive attitude and we instantly felt special. She was attentive till the end!✅ However I did have better tasting seafood. My lobster sandwich was a bit too creamy for my taste. And my wife’s salads was over dressed. The clam chowder was an amazing start though! 🥰 Overall good place for lunch during our road trip.
