I'm not much of a seafood person but I absolutely love shrimp. They're popcorn shrimp is amazing with their cocktail sauce. Reminds me of a long since defunct restaurant from my childhood. Their staff were able to attend to me quickly and it only took about 10 minutes to get my order.

Our family decided last minute to go out to dinner on a Sunday night. Tried another local place first but was informed there was a 30+ minute wait to be seated. Called Makris before driving over to see what their wait time was. Person that answered the phone was pleasant and told us to come right over and we’d be seated right away. Our server was Derek whom though seemed nervous at times, he informed us he was on his second week and was still getting used to everything. Derek was great and attentive throughout the meal. Food was great. Everyone in our party of 5 got different things with no complaints. Atmosphere was wonderful, Derek our server was great, food was awesome. Thanks again! -Jim-

One of our favorite restaurants to go to, when up in this area. Prices, unfortunately, have gone way up. Maybe too much. Especially seafood. Just couldn't justify spending the amounts they were asking for lobster & scallops, when I know there's a place, closer to home either offering better prices or bigger portions for the same price. So I settled for the haddock, which was very good, along with a cup of clam chowder.
