This is not a greasy spoon kind of cafe. It is very uptown, very clean, and healthy! Gluten free options are here and they taste great! Good sized options, fresh food made to order, and made into beautiful plates. Definitely recommend but also know its going to cost you. Don't expect to get out under $12+ dollars a person. That being said, very good upscale dinner.

On a road trip with my husband and stopped in Rapid City for the night. Not being at all familiar with the area, we were soo glad to have picked Tally's for breakfast! The restaurant was full but just had such a relaxed atmosphere. We sat at the bar and had a pleasant conversation with the bar tender. I ordered a Mimosa and was so glad to have not just a glass but my own small bottle of it! Our food was amazing and timely. I want to return to Rapid City just to be able to eat here again!

What an incredible meal and experience here, we had a fantastic time! We love visiting Rapid City and we’d been meaning to try Tally’s, but never got the chance. We ate there this past week after a long day of sightseeing. Our server was excellent - forgot her name, but she told us she was a mom and originally from Florida (like us)! She made a superb wine rec, too. She was incredibly warm and friendly. We tried the amazing leek soup, the delicious Hipster Salad…my kids had Buffalo Burgers, my Buffalo steak was cooked to perfection, and my husband loved his Buffalo pasta dish. We then had the ice cream sampler. What a special meal! We will be back!
