One of the things I enjoy the most about the Texas road house is consistency. The food is always great, typically served in a fairly timely fashion. The employees are pretty consistent with giving pleasant greetings upon arrival.
From time to time you might find a waitress that doesn't do the best job of keeping an eye on the table - but the quality of food fair, and environment has been enough to see that I come back.

Victoria was stellar. She was right on with everything. Definitely the highlight of the whole meal! The buns were hot and fresh with the butter and caramel sauce (you have to try it, it's an old Texas Road House Tradition)..The ice cold Margarita was easy on the way down. Gotta add a kicker! The ribs fell off the bone and the toppings on the steak were delicious. Good Baker (loaded of course). The steak was cooked Med well and asked for medium...but here's the kicker...their customer service is top notch. They corrected the issue with no problems and I wasn't feeling bad for saying anything. They were so professional and I appreciated it. I got my delicious steak the way I wanted it and everyone was happy. Quality wait staff/ management...Great pricing for honestly good, quality food. Thank you for a good experience.

Always a good choice. The food is spectacular, we actually went twice during our week stay in Hermosa which is about 40 minutes away from Rapid city. The steak is literally the best prepared steak I've ever had, so flavorful. The staff is friendly and everyone is organized. We both had steak (but I had shrimp with mine and a sweet potato as a side and he had steak with fries and vegetables). He had a long Island ice tea (best I've had since I tried his to taste it). I had beer and a cocktail with a tequila shooter. You'll never be disappointed here, from the quality of the food to the well trained staff you know you're going to have a great meal and it's not even that expensive for what you get.

Oddly busy for a Tuesday night. Was told that 20 to 30 minute wait ended up waiting about 45 minutes the food was good and was served in a fairly timely manner. The ribs were fall off the bone tender highly recommend them but their steaks are cut wrong so you end up with more of a gritty kind of steak due to the cut being across the grain of the meat instead of with it. Decent customer service.

Took way too long to be seated and we used the call ahead option. There were several tables that needed to be cleaned and about six people at the hostess stand doing absolutely nothing. I’m pretty sure they could have had a couple of them help clean, so people could be seated quicker. But once we were seated, everything else was awesome. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. I would have given it 5 stars, but no one wants to see workers goofing off while they wait.
